About Wuzhizhou Island

Wuzhizhou Island is situated off the bank of Hainan Province, China. This 1.48 square kilometer island is arranged inside Haitang Bay, roughly 30 kilometers upper east of Sanya, between Nanwan Monkey Island toward the north, and Yalong Bay toward the south. Nanwan Monkey Island is a state-ensured nature hold for macaque monkeys in Lingshui region on the south bank of Hainan, the southernmost region of China. While named an island, the save is very the Nanwan promontory circumscribing the Xincun harbor on the east and south.
It is available by China's longest over-water link vehicle from Xincun, traversing 2,138 meters. Since the nature hold was built up in 1965, the save has turned into a mainstream traveler goal. The island is 1.48 square kilometers with 5.7 kilometers of coastline, and has an unpredictable butterfly shape. More than 2,700 plant assortments happen on the island, including colorful blooms and trees, for example, Alsophila spinulosa and Dracaena draco, thought to be the most established plant species on the planet.
The waters encompassing the island contain various species, for example, ocean cucumbers, urchins, and tropical fish. In May 2011, a development venture started to make a marine nature territory. The "ocean farm" will contain 18,000 cubic meters of counterfeit reefs over a territory of roughly 66.6 hectares. This aquaculture venture is financed by a private speculation of around 3 million USD.
