About Hangar Flight Museum

The principal avionics historical center in Calgary, "The Air Museum of Canada," was established in 1960 yet was to a great extent an accumulation of exclusive flying machine. Disbanding in 1971, the historical center's flying machine and resources were swung over to the City of Calgary and housed at the city's Planetarium for supervision and show. In 1975 the "Air Space Museum Association of Calgary" was enrolled as a non-benefit, beneficent, association and accepted the care and upkeep of these curios. By the late 1970's a focal office was set up. As of late resigned Calgary Airport supervisor Bill Watts concurred around then to deal with the every day tasks of the gallery. In 1985 the Aero Space Museum of Calgary moved to the previous Bullock Helicopter Hangar at the south end of the Calgary International Airport.
