Canadian Tulip Festival

Canadian Tulip Festival is well known among locals and visitors. Ottawa's spring celebration denotes the finish of winter as the tulips - given by Queen Juliana of the Netherlands in appreciation for the city's neighborliness amid the Second World War - start to blossom everywhere throughout the city. Trench banks and Commissioner's Park specifically, is the scene of general celebrations.
