Sumauma State Park

The Sumauma State Park is a little state park inside the city of Manaus in the territory of Amazonas, Brazil. It is situated in the core of a thickly populated neighborhood, and is undermined by contamination and illicit extraction and chasing. The recreation center was made by pronouncement 23.721 of 5 September 2003 with a region of around 51 hectares 130 sections of land. It was the aftereffect of endeavors to ensure one of only a handful few staying green spaces in the city by the Cidade Nova bairro, which contains the recreation center, the Urban Forest Fragments volunteer gathering and the Legislative Assembly.

The recreation center is named after the Sumauma tree. It contains remainders of essential woodland, low and high rainforest, field and Mauritia flexuosa palms. There are more than 80 types of winged animals, some endemic to the palms. The recreation center is home to different little warm blooded creatures, including the undermined pied tamarin. Different species incorporate the darker throated sloth, red-rumped agouti Dasyprocta leporina and green iguana.

The recreation center is tainted with refuse dumped from the encompassing houses and with releases from sewers into the streams. Different dangers are illicit evacuation of wood and other backwoods items, chasing of little well evolved creatures and commotion contamination, which may influence propagation. The regions under most danger are the compliment zones, and those around the edge of the recreation center or along the trails.
