The historical center, in a previous Roman Catholic presbytery in the Baroque style, has shows identifying with the working of the salt in the group in the course of recent years.
Improvements in later circumstances incorporate the working in 1595 of a 17 km pipeline to Bad Ischl, which was stretched out 29 km to Ebensee in 1607, and is currently a secured landmark.
