About Forbes & District Historical Museum

The Forbes and District Historical Society Museum is housed in 'Osborne Hall' - the move lobby of the Osborne Hotel which was constructed around 1878. Shown in the Museum are things relating to all features of the historical backdrop of Forbes including native antiquities, furniture, photos, apparatuses, attire, and family unit products together with a vast show of old and memorable hardware including an "Ivel" tractor.

There is likewise a display about Ben Hall - The Myths Behind the Legend, and a World War One presentation identifying with Forbes' commitment to World War One.
