The Monument to work is the colossal landmark of Vigo : it talks about its pride as a mechanical city, of its working individuals, of its connection with the ocean ... This work by Ramon Conde, is a standout amongst the most striking landmarks of Vigo , both for its size and for the epic portrayal of the 7 mariners who pull a net to get the fish out of the ocean. proprietor of a lime production line since 1880, called "Calera del Sur", alongside his sibling Mauricio Aust, they delivered lime, cut stones for walkways, rock cobbles, calcareous squares, macadem rock, and so on. In their offices they had organization, school, inn and stockroom, for the general population who worked there.
