The Shamuratovs' residence museum represents the Karakalpak lifestyle of the length whilst the commonplace running human beings and the public had been worried in growing their subculture. It is the embodiment of the 20th century, with its achievements and mistakes. The exposition displayed in the Museum enables to study the near links of Karakalpak literature and art with Uzbek, Russian, Kazakh, Turkmen and Azerbaijani cultures, of which Amet and Ayimkhan Shamuratov were intently connected, having near family members with men of letters and art in many countries. The exposition devoted to Ayimkhan Shamuratova, you'll enter the arena of modern Karakalpak girls; you may see the picture of an actress who, having absorbed the pleasant traditions of Uzbek and European cultures.
Here is recreated the arena that when surrounded her. You will see the peculiar aggregate of styles, eras and traditions, in which a railed lady's hat from the 30s sits side by way of aspect with an Uzbek girl's headdress, and gilded excessive heeled shoes mingle with excessive boots embroidered with Uzbek ornamentation. In the exposition are authentic letters, files, and telegrams, including one appreciative telegram from Josef Stalin to the actress, who during World War II, along with her concert activities, controlled to raise sufficient cash to construct some battle planes for the the front.
