The Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum is a craftsmanship historical center situated on the University of Minnesota grounds in Minneapolis. Regularly called a "cutting edge workmanship exhibition hall," the 25,000+ picture accumulation has extensive accumulations of Marsden Hartley, Alfred Maurer, Charles Biederman, Native American Mimbres stoneware, and conventional Korean furniture.The historical center's building, composed by designer Frank Gehry,was finished in 1993. The stainless steel skin was manufactured and introduced by the A. Zahner Company, a regular colleague with Gehry's office.The building is one of the significant points of interest on grounds, arranged on a feign ignoring the Mississippi River at the east end of the Washington Avenue Bridge.
