The Waikiki Aquarium is well known among locals and visitors for its collection of marine plants and creatures, it is an aquarium in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. Worked by a living coral reef on the Waikiki shoreline, the Waikiki Aquarium is home to in excess of 3,500 life forms of 490 types of marine plants and creatures. Every year, more than 330,000 individuals visit, and more than 30,000 schoolchildren partake in the Aquarium's instruction exercises and projects. The Waikiki Aquarium was assigned a Coastal Ecosystem Learning Center of the Coastal America Partnership government program. The Aquarium is open day by day from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
