Valley Nature Center

Valley Nature Center is a 6-section of land park and nature protect in Weslaco, Texas. Its concentration is ecological training about the normal history of the Lower Rio Grande Valley. The middle's exercises incorporate a mid year camp, week by week programs for all ages, birding trips, normal history classes and addresses. There are programs for people, youngsters and grown-ups. There is a local plant nursery with plants available to be purchased, a protection asset library and a blessing shop.

Valley Nature Center has been in activity as a non-benefit association since 1984 and another building was opened in 2014. Framed from an empty part, the site currently incorporates a 1 mile trail through a desert plant cultivate, lowland lakes, and butterfly plant. Creatures that have been seen incorporate green jays, extraordinary kiskadees, buff-bellied hummingbird, Texas tortoise and Texas horned reptile. The recreation center is viewed as a decent site to see relocating fowls and butterflies.
