Salvation Mountain

The work of art is produced using adobe, straw, and a huge number of gallons of sans lead paint. Salvation Mountain was made by nearby inhabitant Leonard Knight. It includes ious wall paintings and zones painted with Christian idioms and Bible verses, however, its theory was worked around the Sinner's Prayer. The Folk Art Society of America proclaimed it "a people workmanship site deserving of conservation and insurance" in the year 2000.

In a deliver to the United States Congress on May 15, 2002, California Senator Barbara Boxer portrayed it as "a one of a kind and visionary model. a national fortune... significantly weird and flawlessly open, and deserving of the worldwide approval it gets".
