Palm Beach Zoo

The Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society is a non-benefit zoological association situated in West Palm Beach. The zoo houses in excess of 550 creatures, a significant number of them jeopardized, inside 23-sections of land of lavish tropical living space. The Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society is an individual from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The Zoological Society of the Palm Beaches, Inc. Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society exists to motivate individuals to follow up in the interest of untamed life and the normal world.

The Florida Pioneer Trail exhibits a diversion of a cypress bog and highlights the accompanying creatures: American mountain bear, Florida puma, stream otter, stable owl, banned owl, dark vulture, turkey vulture, roseate spoonbill, red ibis, American flamingo, dark swan, coatimundi, and American croc. This 18 million-dollar display complex opened in 2004 and highlights creatures and the Mayan culture found in Central and South America.

The show is situated on a three-section of land landmass in the zoo. Creature Planet included Tropics of the Americas on the network show "Extreme Zoo" in 2006. The show highlights two Mayan pyramids that are more than 40 feet tall, a nighttime building showing reptiles and bats, and a stroll through surrender, among different showcases. Capybara, blue and gold macaw, shrub pooch, puma, mammoth insect eating animal, Baird's ungulate, capuchin monkey, and Mexican creepy crawly monkey are among the species displayed in this complex.
