Mad River Glen

The Mad River Glen wound up one of Vermont's first significant ski zones when the Single Chair started conveying skiers to the highest point of General Stark Mountain in 1948. From the earliest starting point, Mad River Glen has been special, a place where skiing is a game not an industry, working with nature not against it. Frantic River Glen started another time in 1995 when its skiers met up to frame the Mad River Glen Cooperative. During a time when the ski business is ending up progressively combined and homogenized, America's just skier-possessed significant mountain avoids the pattern by staying free and saving a brand of skiing that exists no place else.
