About Lowami Hart Woods Natural Area

Lowami Hart Woods Natural Area is a 28-section of land forested and wetland normal region that was redeveloped by the locale in 2013 and revived in January 2014. Situated on SW Hart Rd. - between SW Murray Blvd. also, SW 155th Ave. in the West Beaverton - this characteristic region is a goal for strolling and untamed life seeing, particularly feathered creatures. The regular region is the previous site of Camp Lowami, worked by the Camp Fire Girls of America 1956-1994. The camp's unique flagpole sits in a natural instruction meeting spot close to the current scaffold that crosses South Johnson Creek. The Fir Loop Trail, which starts at the new parking area on SW Hart Rd., incorporates an extensive review deck investigating the woodland. From that point, guests can take after the Snowberry Trail further into the characteristic territory, going over the Johnston Creek, marsh deciduous timberland, and the Wahoo Trail.
