About Gilgo State Park
Gilgo State Park is an undeveloped stop, including waterfront access to the Atlantic Ocean toward the south, and Great South Bay toward the north. For a long time, local people from the territory have crossed the Great South Bay, moored and strolled south to the sea shoreline. Here they could cookout, swim and surf the celebrated "Hemlocks Beach". Because of its undeveloped nature, guests are required to pull out what they get with them, and there is no washroom or trash jars. The recreation center highlights quietness, shore view, and surfing. That is one of the best place for visiting.
