Falcon State Park

Falcon State Park is land International Falcon Reservoir in Roma city. The recreation center was rented from the International Boundary and Water Commission in 1949 and was opened to the general population in 1965. Falcon Dam was devoted by Mexican President Adolfo Ruiz Cortines and President Dwight D. Eisenhower in October 1953. The water of the Rio Grande River have framed a wonderful 60-mile-long lake behind the dam. This dam was worked for protection, water system, control, surge control, and recreational purposes. Delicately moving slopes are secured by mesquite, huisache, wild olive, coal black, desert plant local grasses.

Hawk Lake is a major angling heaven, particularly for those looking for high contrast bass, catfish, and stripers. The region is exceptionally famous with fowl watchers; fluctuated and fascinating winged creature life comprising of regular inhabitant flying creatures, which run all through the American Southwest, and a significant number of the tropical species for which this is the northwesternmost station. Likewise, there are unprecedented assortments, for example, the little green kingfisher and the shifted hitting.
