Dover International Speedway

Since opening in 1969, it has held no less than two NASCAR races every year. Notwithstanding NASCAR, the track likewise facilitated USAC and the Verizon IndyCar Series. The track, nicknamed "The Monster Mile", was worked in 1969 by Melvin Joseph of Melvin L. Joseph Construction Company, Inc., with a black-top surface, yet was supplanted with concrete in 1995. After six years in 2001, the track's ability moved to 135,000 seats, influencing the track to have the biggest limit of games scene in the mid-Atlantic.
