Denver Zoo

Denver Zoo is a home to more than 3,500 creatures; this well known zoo endeavors to advance creature welfare and protection, enlivened by one essential stranded bear. Visit Denver Zoo to find more than 650 types of creature, all housed in rich, naturalistic conditions.

The grounds cover more than 32 hectares inside City Park and draw in upwards of 1.6 million guests every year. The zoo's story starts with Billy Bryan, a little stranded mountain bear that was given to the chairman of Denver in 1896. From that minute on, creature welfare and conservation of imperiled species and territories have been at the core of this well known organization.
