About Buckham Gallery
Until the Buckham Fine Arts Project was built up in 1983, there was no scene in Flint where contemporary craftsmen could display more yearning works in different media. To satisfy that need, a gathering of nearby specialists got together and set up Buckham Gallery as a center with the objective of making the cutting edge craft of neighborhood craftsmen open to the general population.
Their solid conviction was, and still is, that the display would enhance Flint's social life and expand people in general's points of view. The exhibition presents workmanship and ideas that are not accessible in some other setting in the town.
Since the display opening in 1984, it has facilitated more than two hundred visual workmanship presentations and ious occasions, for example, verse readings, shows, execution craftsmanship introductions, and film showings.
