SeaCity Museum

One of the historical museums the SeaCity Museum was opened on 10 April 2012 which is specifically located at Southampton, England.

It is housed within a part of the Grade II listed civic center building which previously housed the magistrates' court and police station.

The museum contains two permanent exhibitions, one of which is dedicated to Southampton's connection with RMS Titanic, and the other is to the city's role as the gateway to the world.

It is famous among the visitors; a third space for temporary exhibitions is housed in a purpose-built pavilion extension to the civic center

. Further phases of development may yet add to the exhibition space.

The council had moved toward pitching works from their city craftsmanship accumulation to subsidize the exhibition hall, however, called it quits subsequent to experiencing noteworthy resistance from both inside and outside the city.
