Eastbourne Pier is a coastline delight wharf in Eastbourne, East Sussex, on the south bank of England. The proposition for a dock was first mooted toward the finish of 1863, and exceedingly supported by the town's real landowner, the 7th Duke of Devonshire. It was to have been 1000 feet long and, at an expense of 12,000, would have been arranged toward the finish of the town's most excellent road, Devonshire Place.
