Kiev Pechersk Lavra

Since its establishment as the give in the cloister in 1051, the Lavra has been a transcendent focus of Eastern Orthodox Christianity in Eastern Europe. Together with the Saint Sophia Cathedral, it is engraved as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The religious community complex is viewed as a different national notable social protect asylum, the national status to which was conceded on 13 March 1996.
