3. Umananada Temple

 

One of the most important temples of Guwahati, situated on Peacock Island in the middle of Brahmaputra River. Umananada Temple temple can be accessed only on ferries or motor launches. It is mainly dedicated to Lord Shiva. The beautiful walls of the temple are wonderfully engraved and sculpted.

6. Madan Kamdev

 

Madan Kamdev, temple is situated 30 km from Guwahati city and an archaeological site in Assam. The temple is mainly known as Khajuraho of Assam and one of the most beautiful temples in Assam state. People who are fond of beautiful arts and sculptures can come here. 


Statue of Ahom: Ahom kingdom was mainly known for his leadership, Lachit Borphukan was a commander in the Battle of Saraighat. A 35 feet high statue of Ahom general and his army is basically located in the middle of the Brahmaputra river.

7. Dipor Bil
