You can get buses from Delhi to Manali. It will not take more than 12 hours to get here. The distance is approximately 530Km from Delhi. It is always recommended that to take HPTDC or HRTC Volvo buses through their official websites.
Explore the town through walking: you can explore Manali best on foot. You can take the bus right to the main market. From there, you can go to Vashisht by taking half an hour walk through the lively roads with sweet little eateries and a small marketplace. You can also reach old Manali by walking through Van Vihar National Park. If not interested in walking, you can also get an auto rickshaw.
Biking Across Manali: You can get bikes on rental and at reasonable rates here and the rates drop even further if they are hired for more than two days. This is the best option if you want to explore the place in your own way.
Solang Valley: This is located at around 14 KM from Manali. You can try some of the adventurous activities and eat Chinese foods from local roadside shacks.
Tibetan Monasteries: These monasteries were built by the Tibetans and other followers of Buddhism. These are the great places to witness the Buddhist culture and feel the culture of the place. The popular monasteries included in Manali are Manali Gompa, Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa, and the Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa.
Adventure Activities: Various activities can be enjoyed and experienced in Manali, from trekking and paragliding to mountain biking, jeep safaris, and rafting. There are many types of high altitude hiking and rock climbing opportunities offered by Manali’s Mountaineering Institute.

7 Sher-e-Punjab or Shan-e-Punjab: One of the good food joints in Manali that offers the yummiest of Punjabi cuisines.
1. Do carry woollen clothes especially a heavy woolen jacket.
2. Do carry 2-3 pairs of inner thermal cots.
3. Woolen socks and airtight shoes are perfect to help you avoid freezing feet.
4. Keep yourself hydrated on the day when you visit snow points.
5. Do not go to the snow points on the very first day you reach Manali.
