This is the first ever marine project in which two whales will be relocated from their current home to their new home which would the the whale sanctuary in Iceland. This is considered a whales wellbeing and healthcare project.
The Little White and the Little Grey will be transported via land, sea and air via Cargolux transport on a specially designed Boeing 747-400 ERF fighter to their new home whale sanctuary in Iceland. The whales will be taken care of throughout the travel and every possible need would be taken care of until they land safely in Iceland.
Sea Life Trust is working in partnership with the Whale and Dolphin to rehabilitate and provide the better conditions to the captivated cetaceans. As per the plan the island sanctuary will be created at the Klettsvik Bay where the Little White and the Little Grey will be able to enjoy a fuller and more comfortable living.
The beluga whale sanctuary also includes the puffin hospital where the little chicks will be monitored and taken care of. It also includes a teaching and education center where the visitors will be allowed to go on a small trip in the islands and watch whales and learn about them without disturbing them. This is the great initiative to protect the flora and fauna of our world and preserve the natural beauty rather than harming them. We hope that till project really does wonder and is carried out successfully for the benefit of the world and our creatures Little White and Little Grey.
