Langkawi Wildlife Park which is popularly known as Taman Burung Langkawi is a tropical garden situated by the Jalan Ayer Hangat, Kisap. The park covers an area of around 5.5 acres. It takes about 10 minutes to reach here from Kuah and 30 minutes from the Airport. This wonderful wildlife park lies at the base of the Gunung Raya. More than 2,500 striking birds from 150 species are found here in a picturesque landscape.

2. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary lies in Rajasthan. This place is also known as the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, This place is called as “bird paradise.” It is a popular tourist destination, There are many exotic and endangered birds present I this park which migrates there during winter ever year. This park is set up on the Agra-Jaipur road. From Delhi, the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is just three-hour drive and has 300 bird species. You can enjoy trekking and trained cycle rickshaw pulling in this park. It is a man-made wetland and is d as world heritage site. You can spot species of cranes, pelicans, geese, ducks, eagles, and much more birds in this park.
3. The Chilka Lake Bird Sanctuary
The Chilka Lake Bird Sanctuary is situated near Puri, Odisha. This place is known for the Asia’s largest inland sea water lagoon which is called as the Chilka Lake. This beautiful lake is pear-shaped and covers an area of 1,100 square kilometres. For the migratory birds, it serves as the largest wintering ground. For the bird watchers, it is an ideal place as they keep visiting again and again as some of the unique species like sea eagles, greylag geese, and purple moorhen are present here. To have a spectacular view of the beautiful winged creatures, small islands such as Nalabana, Mangalajodi and Kalupadaghat must be visited. From Bhubaneshwar, this sanctuary is 120 km away. You should visit this sanctuary from October to March and try boat cruise to explore the best.
4. Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary
Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary is located in Gurgaon. Some of the most colourful bird species.are present there. It is just an hour’s drive from Delhi. Many migratory birds are present in this sanctuary. Northern Pintail, Greater Flamingo, Common Teal, and Siberian cranes can be spotted here. Sultanpur Lake which is a shallow freshwater lake is present there. The sanctuary has approximately 250 bird species. Winters are the best time to visit this place
5. Nal Saro Bird Sanctuary
Nal Saro Bird Sanctuary is present in Ahmedabad, Gujrat. It is the largest wetland bird. Indian Own are rare birds like Spoonbills and Small Grebes can be spotted here. Abhiruchi Kendra, an interpretation centre ‘has been developed in the sanctuary by the forest department. I this centre 225 types of birds have been recorded. November to February is the best time to visit this place.
