About Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery

The Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery is a countrywide historical landmark and museum in Barangay Bambang, Nagcarlan, Laguna supervised by means of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. It became constructed in 1845 underneath the supervision of Franciscan priest, Fr. Vicente Velloc as a public burial website and its underground crypt completely for Spanish friars, prominent town residents and members of elite Catholic families.
