Aalsmeer Flower Auction is a flower auction that takes place in Aalsmeer, Netherlands. It is the most important flower public sale inside the world. The Aalsmeer Flower Auction building is the second one largest building via footprint inside the world, overlaying 518,000 rectangular metres. Flowers from all over the international – Europe, Ecuador, Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya, and different international locations—are traded each day on this massive building. Around 20 million flora are offered each day. This increases by around 15 percent around unique days along with Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

Their plants are subjected to round 30 exceptional checks so that they can be graded on a scale. The public sale is installation as a Dutch auction wherein the rate begins high and works its way down. Bidders get only a few seconds to bid at the flowers before they are offered and passed on to the new owner. On 1 January 2008, the auction company merged with its biggest competitor Royal FloraHolland.
