The Golden Lady

It generally known by the epithet of the Golden woman, is a war commemoration in Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. It is committed to the a large number of Luxembourgers who volunteered for benefit in the military of the Allied Powers amid both World Wars and the Korean War.

The Golden woman is arranged in Constitution Square, in the Ville Haute quarter of focal Luxembourg City. The focal point of the landmark is a 21-meter-tall stone monolith. On of the monolith stands an overlaid bronze statue speaking to Nike, goddess of triumph, or "Ruler of Freedom", holding out a shrub wreath as though setting it upon the leader of the country.
