About Kasukabe
Kasukabe is a metropolis located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 February 2016, the metropolis had an anticipated population of 232,294, and a populace density of 3520 persons in step with km². Its overall place is 66.00 km². Kasukabe is well-known for the production of kiri-tansu conventional dressers crafted from paulownia timber. The cultural and economic value of the paulownia is contemplated in its designation as the authentic city tree. During the Edo period, Kasukabe prospered as a post station on the Nikko Kaido motorway linking Edo with Nikko.
The modern-day city of Kasukabe became created inside Minamisaitama District, Saitama with the established order of the municipalities system on April 1, 1889. On April 1, 1944, Kasukabe annexed the neighboring village of Uchimaki. On July 1, 1954 Kasukabe become increased to metropolis reputation after annexing the villages of Toyoharu, Takesato, Komatsu and Toyono. On October 1, 2005, vintage Kasukabe city and the town of Showa from Kitakatsushika District had been merged into new and multiplied town of Kasukabe. Kasukabe become increased to special metropolis repute on April 1, 2008, giving it expanded local autonomy.
