About Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine

Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head holy place of Inari, the divine force of rice, purpose and success and benefactor of business, dealers and producers. The hallowed place sits at the base of Mount Inari and incorporates numerous littler sub holy places which traverse 4 kilometers up the 233 meter mountain. Each of the popular torii place of worship doors has been given by an individual or a Japanese business in the expectation of getting good fortunes and fortune.
