About Eikan-do Zenrin-ji

Eikando is formally known as Zenrinji Temple, has a place with the Jodo faction of Japanese Buddhism. Found only north of the extensive sanctuary complex of Nanzenji, Eikando is extremely popular for its harvest time hues and the night enlightenments that happen in fall.

The sanctuary has a long history, and there are an assortment of structures and a lake cultivate that guests can investigate. Another appealing spot amid the fall is the Hojo Pond, around which an alluring greenhouse has been developed. Little streams gone through the sanctuary grounds and associate with this principle lake, at the focal point of which is a little altar on an island. Pre-winter hues are normally best in the second 50% of November, when the sanctuary is opened at night for extraordinary enlightenments.
