Tel Hadid

One of the principle olive oil producing plants set up in Eretz Yisrael was in Ben Shemen, "Hadid" preparing plant, later known as "Ben-Shemen". 100 Dunam were obtained from where there is Haditha town discovered north-east of Lod. 

The plant began working before the complete of January 1906 in Ben Shemen Hadid. The locale was at first planted with olive trees to supply rough materials for the olive oil mechanical office. 

The olive trees didn't take incredibly well and not long after the timberland was replanted with pines, cypresses and carobs. The "Shemen" preparing plant moved to Haifa. Cassie is the name given by the French to the yellow sprout pioneers of the Acacia Farnesiana. Fragrance is isolated from the blooms in kind of concrete or oil.
