About Jisr Jindas
The present structure dates to 1273, yet is acknowledged to be produced on Roman foundations. It was first gathered in current conditions by Charles Simon Clermont-Ganneau, who saw that an Arabic story had implied the advancement by Beibars in 672 AH of two frameworks work of an enormous sort "in the zone of Ramleh". The second of these two expansions is accepted to be the Mamluk Bridge, Yibna.
Clermont-Ganneau contemplated that the augmentation was fabricated using block work recuperated from the Church of Saint George, which had been smashed in the Crusader-Ayyubid War. On the west and east faces of the augmentation are around two unclear etchings, flanked by two lions or jaguars.
