Rajim falls in the Chhattishgarh in the district of Gariaband. The place is site of pilgrimage and is the meeting of rivers like Mahanadi, Pairi and Sondhul. The place takes a distance of thirty to forty-five minutes’ distance from Raipur. The place was once a center of urban society but soon it was transformed to a pilgrimage site.
The Rajivalochana Temple is one of the most attractive place which is dedicated to the Hindu god, Lord Vishnu. The place contains many temples of ancient marks like those of Kuleshwara Mahadeva Temple, Rajimatelin, Ramachandra temple, Kaal-Bhairav, Jagannath temple and Brahmacharya ashram and many more. The place gives a sense of serenity and calmness which soothe one’s mind and create a tranquility in the atmosphere.
