Nalabana Bird Sanctuary is an ensured untamed life asylum situated in the province of Orissa. Spreading over a region of 1555 hectares of thick green woodlands, Nalabana Bird asylum is secured with water reeds. The Sanctuary is basically one of the little islands inside Chilika Lake, which is associated with the Bay of Bengal towards its east. Chilika Lake is India's biggest salty water wetland. The Lake additionally gets overwhelming inflow of water from waterways Bhargavi and Daya.
This blending of new water and ocean water enables the lake to help vast environment of amphibian creatures and winged animals. There are a few feathered creature animal ieties in Nalabana Bird Sanctuary that are inhabitant species and numerous that are transitory winged animals. A portion of the rarest transitory species found in the asylum are the Asiatic Dowitchers and Spoon-charged Sandpiper.
