Chinta Valley in Bhderwah is a little valley amidst the hills, perched at a height of 6500 feet above sea-level. Surrounded by the Himalayan hills and coniferous forests on all sides, the valley is a breathtaking sight. The Chenab River cutting through the mountains resulted in the formation of the valley.
The valley has a number of scenic spots like Thuba, which is the highest point of the valley. Horse riding through the valley is an enjoyable experience. It is also perfect for picnics. Six kilometers from the valley lies the Subarnag Peak which has the Subarnag Temple at its top, situated at an altitude of 10,200 feet above sea-level. From up here, one can have a panoramic view of the entire valley overlooking the rolling hills of the Himalayas.
