Bappanadu Durga Parameshwari Temple

The fundamental divinity of this temple is Goddess Durga, revered as Linga. This temple has its own unique history and identity. At a separation of 28 Kms from Mangalore and 30 Kms from Udupi, Bappanadu Durga Parameshwari Temple is situated on the banks of River Shambavi in Bappanadu town close Mulki.

This temple is one of the essential temples of Shakti in Dakshina Kannada. Visitors come here with the heart of soul. This temple was built in the fourteenth century. There is a vast drum in the sanctuary broadly known as Bappanadu Dolu. Yearly celebration is commended in the long stretch of April.
