Anegundi

Anegundi located in the ancient settlement of Vijaynagar is a smalll village where one gets to interact with indegenious people, participate in seasonal agricultural activities and explore on mopeds or bullockcarts.It is said to be the ancient city of Kishkinda of the epic Ramayana.Angagudi holds historical importance as it is the home of the surviving line of Rajas who are believed to be descendants of Vijayanagara emperors. One gets to see many regional houses with timber pillars, mud-clad walls and flat plastered roofs. Mingle with the rurals by getting hands on experience in harvesting , cultivation and different crops like planting paddy or harvesting sugarcane. It is an enriching experience.
