Church of Agios Petros

Holy person Peter the Wonderworker or the Thaumaturge otherwise called Saint Peter of Argos is a Christian holy person, viewed as the benefactor holy person of Argos. He was conceived in Constantinople, to a well-to-do family noted for its devotion and magnanimity.

In his family, there were five siblings, every one of them holding an awesome proclivity for Christianity and who together with their folks helped poor people. From them, Peter heard a calling to the ascetic life.

He passed on at Argos and was covered in the Church of the Dormition there. His notoriety for supernatural occurrences proceeded, as his face seemed, by all accounts, to be Transfiguration amid his burial service, and his body was held to have radiated the "Oil of Saints".

After a long hunt, his relics were situated at a religious community close Rome; they came back to Argos in 2008 and now live in St. Dwindle's Church.
