About Byzantine Museum of Argolis

Argos, the Peloponnese, is home to a pristine historical center concentrated on the Byzantine Empire. The gallery was opened on March 9, 2017. The main objective of the exhibition hall is to demonstrate delegate parts of the area of Argolis Regional Unit from the fourth century up to current circumstances. Argolis Regional Unit incorporates Argos, one of Greece's most established persistently occupied urban areas, and Nafplio. The shows are for the most part involved earthenware production, figures, coins, mosaics, paintings and different little questions, taken from unearthings in the city of Argos, and different territories of Argolida.

The main segment, entitled "An Empire is conceived" indicates antiques from the early Byzantine Empire and its foundational religion, Christianity.

The second segment manages the change to the medieval times and the uncertainty that won from the seventh to the ninth century.

The third segment, entitled "Center Byzantine Argolis", is the "heart" of the display uniting most of the shows.

In the fourth and last segment entitled "Argolis: an intersection of developments," consideration swings to the gathering, conjunction and at times incorporation of ious societies in the grounds of Argolida.
