About Verl
Verl is a city within the district of Gutersloh within the kingdom of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located approximately 15 km south of Bielefeld and 10 km east of Gutersloh. In the nineteenth century citizens of Verl, Johannes Otto and Ferdinand Bredeik, based towns in Ohio, USA: Delphos and Ottoville. Since the Nineteen Nineties Verl has been an reliable sister city of both towns.
