Hohensalzburg Castle

Hohensalzburg Castle sits on the Festungsberg, a little slope in the Austrian city of Salzburg. Raised at the command of the Prince-Archbishops of Salzburg with a length of 250 m 820 ft and a width of 150 m 490 ft, it is one of the biggest medieval palaces in Europe. Hohensalzburg Castle is arranged at an elevation of 506 m. The post comprises of different wings and patio. The Prince-Bishop's condos are situated in the alleged "Hoher Stock".

The renowned Golden Hall, keeping in mind the end goal to acquire space, Archbishop Leonhard von Keutschach had four monstrous marble columns built on the right-hand external divider and had a loggia included. As in alternate rooms the roof is coffered, every coffer being embellished with gold catches symbolizing the stars in the sky. The 17 meter long bar, supporting the roof, is especially worth saying.
