Helfenstein Castle

Helfenstein Castle represents the remnants of the fortified fort Helfenstein of the counts of Helfenstein placed above the metropolis of Geislingen an der Steige, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. The fortress became constructed, by using Eberhard von Helfenstein, at the turn of the 12^th century and become regularly enlarged at some stage in the period from 1100 to 1380.
