Bad Schonborn is a municipality in northern Karlsruhe district in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. It is placed at the Bertha Benz Memorial Route. Bad Schonborn is famous for being a health resort with mineral springs, and this spa offers the largest roofed swimming location in Germany to people with all styles of illnesses. In 1971, two previous towns Bad Langenbrucken and Bad Mingolsheim had been mixed, and the city become named Bad Schonborn after Damian Hugo von Schonborn, archbishop of Speyer, who constructed Kislau Castle in Bad Mingolsheim.
Archbishop Franz Christoph von Hutten based the sulphur spa in Bad Langenbrücken in 1766. A well-known citizen is the minister of the indoors of Baden-Wurttemberg parliament Heribert Rech, and the singer Joana Emetz. The Battle of Mingolsheim befell close to Mingolsheim throughout the 30 Years' War on April 27, 1622. The 30 Years' War was a struggle fought mostly in Central Europe between 1618 and 1648. One of the maximum adverse conflicts in human history, it led to 8 million fatalities no longer most effective from navy engagements but also from violence, famine, and plague.
