About Lauritsala Church

Lauritsala Church is an Evangelical Lutheran church within the Lauritsala district of Lappeenranta, Finland. The church turned into opened in December 1969. The modernist concrete layout become created by using architect Toivo Korhonen and architect pupil Jaakko Laapotti. The foundation of the layout is an equilateral triangle symbolising the Holy Trinity. The Christian doctrine of the Trinity holds that God is one God, however three coeternal consubstantial persons or hypostases the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as "one God in three Divine Persons".

The 3 Persons are wonderful, but are one "substance, essence or nature". In this context, a "nature" is what one is, whereas a "person" is who one is. Sometimes differing views are referred to as nontrinitarian. The church and the adjacent parish center are listed as a nationally vast built heritage web page by means of the Finnish National Board of Antiquities. The Finnish Heritage Agency preserves Finland's material cultural historical past: collects, research and distributes expertise of it.
