Aakirkeby

Aakirkeby or Akirkeby is a town in Denmark with a population of 2,052. It is the 1/3 biggest metropolis on the island of Bornholm within the Baltic Sea. It was the main town of the now abolished Aakirkeby Municipality. The town is located in the center of the southern half of of Bornholm, among Ronne and Nexo. The Danish TV-station TV2 has a nearby workplace in Aakirkeby. Aakirkeby may be translated to "Stream Church town", as Å or Aa is a movement.

When speakme of the church alone, which dates from the mid-12th century, it is separated into two phrases: Aa Kirke. Myreagre Molle, a whitewashed windmill constructed in 1865, is placed three km to the east of Aakirkeby on the road to Nexo. Nexo, every now and then spelled NeksO, is a city on the east coast of the Baltic island of Bornholm, Denmark. With a populace of three,644, it's far the second one biggest metropolis, in addition to the largest fishing port on the island.
