About Red crabs migration in Christmas Island

Ever heard of crabs colored in red, if no then come an explore the area near sea in Christmas island, an Australian territory, where these small creatures are found breeding and spawning every year. Island is a home to around 14 species of Christmas Island Red Crabs endemic to the island with 120 million red crabs residing in a restricted area. The best time to capture the beautiful sight is at the beginning of wet season that puts the crabs in active mode. Watching matured red crabs moving slowly from dense forest to sea coast fills the beholder with immense pleasure. This slow movement marks the invasion of little crabs covering the entire land with red color which creates an awesome site for the visitors. This marching ahead of red crabs at the advent of wet season gives a sense of royal pleasure in itself. No doubt the experience is out of world and worth enjoying.
