About Jingpo Lake

Jingpo Lake or Lake Jingpo is a lake situated in the upper compasses of the Mudan River among the Wanda Mountains in Ningan County, Heilongjiang, in the People's Republic of China. Prior names for the lake incorporate Meituohu Lake, Huhanhai Lake, and Bilten Lake. The length of the lake from north to south is 45 kilometers 28 mi and the broadest separation among east and west is just 6 kilometers 3.7 mi. The south piece of lake is shallow with the most profound place in the northern part at 62 meters 203 ft. The lake was made around 10,000 years prior when volcanic emissions in the locale hindered the stream of the Mudanjiang River.
The northern side of the river falls down the Diaoshuilou Falls, a 40 m 130 ft cascade framed by the lake. This lake is well known for its rough limestone precipices and its turquoise-shaded waters containing 40 kinds of fish and new water coral. On Titan, the biggest moon of earth Saturn, there is an expansive surface assortment of fluid hydrocarbons, Jingpo Lacus, named after Jingpo Lake. Jingpo Lacus is a lake in the north polar locale of Titan, the planet Saturn's biggest moon. It and comparatively measured Ontario Lacus are the biggest known assortments of fluid on Tita. It is made out of fluid hydrocarbons primarily methane and ethane. Its namesake is Jingpo Lake, a grand lake in China.
